Jerking the Rug

On August 15, 1971, President Nixon went on national TV to announce his decision to “jerk the rug” out from anyone wanting to convert their U.S. dollars into gold.  This was also known as “closing the gold window” and taking the dollar off the “gold standard.”

I remember seeing Nixon’s world-shaking speech on a Sunday evening.  In addition, Nixon also put into place a 90-day wage and price freeze in an attempt to curb inflation.  I had graduated from high school in June of that year and would be starting college in September.  I remember how the price controls locked in prices on the school books that I needed for my classes.

What brought about Nixon’s decision is covered in the video, linked below, and this Wikipedia article on the “Nixon Shock.”  See Nixon shock – Wikipedia.  As you know, Fort Knox was built back in 1936 to hold gold bullion owned by the U.S. Treasury and other valuable assets.  See United States Bullion Depository – Wikipedia.

Thanks to Elon Musk’s auditing of government spending in order to eliminate waste and discover fraud, the question has arisen if there is any gold still stored at Fort Knox.  Currently, the famous depository is supposed to be holding a little over 4,500 metric tons of gold.  Gold bullion is also stored at the West Point Mint in New York.

Is there gold still stored at Fort Knox or has it been removed by government confiscation or by some mysterious villain as portrayed in the 1964 James Bond movie, Goldfinger?  On the same par, perhaps the gold was taken by space aliens after their gooses stopped laying golden eggs.

Can the government be trusted to tell us the truth?  Do you believe that the government told us the truth about the assassination of JFK?  Well then, maybe there is some room for doubt.  If the U.S. government wants to keep the confidence of American citizens and the world, then allow a livestream audit of Fort Knox.

But if it should be found out that there is little or no gold left at Fort Knox, then be ready for a worldwide shaking and a “jerking the rug” far greater than 1971.  This “jerking the rug” is better explained by Andrei Jikh in his video presentation, linked below.

“‘I will shake all the nations, and they will come with all their treasures, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the LORD of Hosts.  ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ declares the LORD of Hosts.

“‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says the LORD of Hosts.  ‘And in this place, I will provide peace,’ declares the LORD of Hosts” (Haggai 2:7-9).

Remember the dream that Jacob had where he saw a ladder or staircase?  See Genesis 28:10-22.  Jacob saw angels ascending and descending.  Were these angels carry something of value either from heaven to the earth or from the earth to heaven?  I believe so.  And perhaps this valuable substance will someday be used to build God’s house in the future after a great shaking.  And if paper or fiat currency is next to worthless to purchase this valuable substance, then gold or silver will be the only form of money which would be accepted at that time after this great shaking.

To get a better perspective on the shaking that is coming, be sure to watch this short video.  Here is the link:
