 THE RACE: It’s not over until it’s over. “…let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which does so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.” (Heb. 12:1) “Know you not that they which run in a race run all, but one receives the prize. So run, that you may obtain.” (I Cor. 9:24) NOT JUST TO THE SWIFT: “…I saw under the Sun, that the Race is not to the swift….” (Ecl. 9:11) “No man is ever whipped until he quits, –in his own mind…. with Persistence you will win.” (Napoleon Hill) Sooner or later the one who wins is the one who thinks he can. YAHWEH’S INVESTMENT: Yahweh has invested time, the life of His Son, the lives of martyrs to preserve the Cause of the true Church. PERSONAL PRICE: The truth often comes by personal sacrifice. Moses fasted 40 days to get the 10 commandments and judgments. Moses fasted 40 days to save Israel from Yahweh’s wrath. The prophet Daniel fasted two weeks to obtain new revelation. Yahshua fasted 40 days to defeat Satan. WHAT MANNER SHOULD WE BE? In these End Times “…what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conversation and godliness.” (2 Pet, 3:11) …thanking Yahweh for bringing us this far. Confident that He will take us the rest of the way.
