Christ’s Coming to Rule

Please read the material to follow.  It is an answer to your thought in the last lesson that “Christ could come soon”.  Or words to that effect.  Thus, I am going to present some teachings of prophecy, to see if you can grasp the plan as the Almighty has recorded it.  And note that when WCG was wrong, God’s word tells us that it was “not their fault”. Simply because it was not his time.  This is why we are some 20 years beyond the 6000 that men come up with.

Anyway, please consider Christ’s coming “with his Angelic army”, only two or three years before he “sits on his throne” to rule in the coming 7th millennium.

1)  A question.  “Can Christ and his Angels come, according to Scripture, BEFORE the kings of the north and south come to positions of power on earth”?

2)  A question.  “Can Christ come BEFORE the 144,000 (Philadelphia church) have preached their message to all nations on the earth”?  (See:  Rev. 7:9)

3)  A question.  “Can Christ and his Angels come, according to Scripture, BEFORE the kings of the north and south take over control of Jerusalem and Judea”?  (See:  Lk. 21:20)

Note that point number 1 has already begun to be fulfilled.  As they began meeting “at one table” in mid-2019, and discussed the “illegal refugee” problems in southern Europe, and also “what to do about Jerusalem”.  See: (Dan. 11:27.)

They agreed to meet regularly to “work together” on the above problems.

Hey, we all want Christ to come.  But ought we to teach a time, when said time may be, according to prophetic Scripture, a number of years in the future.  Ought we not to wait until each of the prophesied events above begin to take place? After, the union of the kings of the north and south unite for a number of years is just the “beginning of the end”.

Think about it.  And I am not trying to influence you.  Only to allow you to consider what actually has to take place first.

You and Darwin have a great week.  I think a great deal of you.

Editor’s Note:
You bring up many great points, perhaps there is someone out there that can answer some of them or just make comments in regard to them.

I want to just comment on this. I still believe Christ’s return will be soon, but to me soon would be in the next ten years although with all that is going on in the world, I hope it is sooner and not later than the ten years. I think one of the biggest signs for when Christ will return is when the two witnesses appear on the scene, because at that point we will know there is only a little over three and a half years before Christ will return.

I haven’t heard of anyone setting dates, but it does kind of look like the first fruit resurrection will be on Pentecost which is the Feast of First Fruits, in whatever year that Christ returns. The biggest problem with it being Pentecost is that many will miss it if they are not keeping the right Pentecost, because Christ only has one Pentecost. Laura Lee
