| Mexico has reached an agreement with two Russian and two Chinese companies after months of negotiations involving natural gas-pipeline contracts, according to negotiators directly involved with the talks. Under the terms agreed upon, Mexico will allow Russian and Chinese troops to stay in the country in order to protect America’s neighbor from “U. S. Aggression.” In return Russia and China will have access to all natural gas supplies “with assurances that all citizens of Mexico will be provided adequate supplies for all their needs,” according to negotiators. “This is a solution to a very tense and uncertain situation,” said Emmanuel Gonzalez, an energy industry analyst. “Mexico will be well protected from any aggression by the U. S. if its natural gas production is disrupted.” |
