| Print Items and Articles – Should be at least 50 words long and must have a title and must state that you the sender are the author. Anything you want us to consider for print should be sent in a Word File or in the body of an email. We will no longer convert articles from a .pdf file into a printable Word File. Iron Sharpening Iron – This section is reserved for comments in agreement or comments in disagreement or just comments in regard to the items that are printed. (These are then posted with the item you are commenting on.) Format for Print is as follows: Title of article, by Your Name (Town, State and/or Country) We also put your website address at the end if you have one. Advertising Books or Booklets: We do not advertise books or booklets within articles unless something in the article is specifically in reference to that book or booklet. This is decided at our discretion. Use of Sacred Names: We do not do sacred names here, but we do print articles in which people do use sacred names. Strange Doctrine: There are many strange or should I say doctrines which we have never heard before. Some of these may actually be biblical and others may not be. If we believe it is not biblical, we will put “Editor’s Notes” on it or add an “Iron Sharpening Iron” piece after and in reference to said article. Copyright – Starting with Issue #56, we are going to put copyright on all articles that we print, even if the author has not specifically asked for it. (This will not cover the articles that are currently ready for print but will cover future articles we get ready for print.) We are Fallible: We can be wrong and sometimes we do not catch every unbiblical point, that is why it is important that you let us know when you disagree with us or if we have missed something. Your input is important to us. If you dispute something send biblical proof with your dispute. Email Addresses: We do not publish email addresses within or at the end of articles. If you have a website we give you a link at the end of your article and people can then go to your website to contact you. Newsletters: Anything that has been printed in any given newsletter cannot be removed and that includes newsletters we have ready but have not yet sent out. All items printed are also posted online. Anything posted online cannot be removed. We will update this policy as needed. |
