Was Paul a False Apostle?

Laws of Logic, Inherent and Fundamental to Reality

(Copyright) by Jeffrey Caldwell (Arkansas)

The laws of logic appear to be inherent and fundamental aspects of reality — or else, it seems, all our thinking and “scientific investigation” is futile!

Rather small children that we be, our ability to grasp or be absolutely certain about the essential nature of reality is limited.

Even most atheists seem to think, as I do, that the laws of logic are immaterial, unchanging, universal, and eternal. Those are Biblically proclaimed attributes of the Creator who claims to be the Lawgiver and the Sustainer of all things.

God-fearing scientists think the laws of logic are the way the One who says “Come, let us reason together” thinks. Immaterial, unchanging, universal and eternal laws of logic thus reflect the reality of the Creator’s “invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature” as Paul says.

The laws of logic are essential for sound thinking of any sort, certainly for scientific thinking and investigation.

If the Creator God originated and sustains all the properties of matter and living things, permeating and filling the physical universe and beyond, as the Bible says … then He and his laws are “inherent and fundamental” to everything … and Creation’s huge amount of embodied information (compared to our ability to grasp it) proves that His mindpower is far beyond our ken. This Bible says His thoughts are as far above ours as “the heavens are above the earth”!

Possibly the Creator God, as an immaterial, unchanging, universal and eternal being, exists in and easily moves through and works in dimensions beyond the four familiar to us, which may account for activity on His part that seems “miraculous” to us.
