| We may not realize what we’re seeing in the events in central Europe. First, we don’t know Putin’s real objective, but it involves Ukrainian corruption beyond belief. It even involves important individuals in our current administration. The bio-weapons labs have been unreported, even though the US Congress had to ‘fess-up’ after first denying. But more than those elements, we are realizing that Russia IS NOT the big boogeyman (superpower) that we’ve long imagined. Secondly, that ‘smart weapons’ even among a small armed force can devastate the more substantial force. Russia can’t place any of its navy in the Black Sea! They are in a position to LOSE Crimea. It’s cut off at present. (In another video). Their outdated and outclassed military hardware is getting obliterated. Much of it ‘remotely’ from ‘out of the blue’, literally! And then, the China Factor. They see what our weapons can do, and as Freedman points out, they would suffer an even worse fate should they invade Tiawan. What they do have is troop numbers, but that can be obliterated in moments. Witness Russia in Ukraine. It’s not a numbers game anymore. The US is clandestinely fighting this war with Russia. They know it but are reluctant to respond to the acts of war that would be the case in any other similar situation. (Perhaps the threat of nukes is in reality an electromagnetic pulse to knock-out our electronic weapon ology. That would ‘level the field’. Perhaps Mr. Friedman will put this in perspective as it regards China.
