The Little Horn is only mentioned in the Book of Daniel beginning with the 7th chapter: “After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and behold, in this [little] horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things” (Daniel 7:7-8). In Daniel 8, we learn more details about this “little horn.” Daniel had a vision of a ram with two horns which is attacked by a he-goat with a “notable horn” between its eyes. This he-goat from the west smote and prevailed against the ram. The he-goat waxed strong but then the “notable horn” is broken with four notable horns coming up in its place. “And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land” (verse 9). Reading the entire chapter, we learn that the ram is the Persian Empire while the he-goat is the Greek Empire under Alexander the Great pictured as the “notable horn” between its eyes which was broken. Understanding how this was fulfilled in history, we know that Alexander the Great did not appoint an heir so that after his untimely death, his empire was divided up between four of his generals. Later on, at the end-time, a “little horn” will arise from one of these divisions of the Greek Empire. It is believed by most that this “little horn” will also be the end-time “King of the North” described in Daniel 11. Also, this person that is described as a “little horn” and “King of the North” in Daniel is believed to be the same person which is called the “Beast” in the Book of Revelation and also called the “Antichrist.” There has been much speculation over who may become this future “little horn.” Since much of the ancient Greek Empire is now occupied by Muslim nations, it has become popular to suggest that this future “Beast” or “Antichrist” will be a Muslim. Others speculate that the Antichrist will come from the Tribe of Dan and thus be of Jewish or Israelite ancestry. Still, others believe that he will come from Edom or Esau which would probably also make him a Muslim. Are there any other clues about this “little horn” that has been overlooked by most prophecy writers? “And in the latter time of their kingdom [the four horns], when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up” (Daniel 8:23). What does it mean that he will understand “dark sentences”? In the English Standard Version, this phrase is rendered, “one who understands riddles.” So, “dark sentences” could mean “riddles.” Where else in the Bible is there a mention of riddles? “And the word of the LORD came unto me saying, Son of man, put forth a riddle, and speak a parable unto the house of Israel” (Ezekiel 17:1-2). Ezekiel 17 describes a parable which then contains a riddle. The parable first mentions a great eagle which comes to Lebanon and takes the highest limb of a cedar and carries it to “a city of merchants” (Babylon). This describes when Nebuchadnezzar conquered Jerusalem and took her king to Babylon. He set up another king over Judah (verses 12-14). However, that king rebelled and turned to Egypt (the other great eagle) for help yet to no avail (verses 15-21). As recorded in Jeremiah and elsewhere, the rebellious king of Judah, Zedekiah, was taken captive to Babylon. All his sons were slain before his eyes and then his eyes were put out. See Jeremiah 52:1-20 and 2 Kings 25:1-21. The parable in Ezekiel 17 which describes the two great eagles was recorded in the Bible as part of Judah’s history and is easy to understand. Now comes the riddle. “Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the highest cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon a high mountain and eminent: In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it; and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl and every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell. And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done it” (Ezekiel 17:22-24). What was this “tender one” and where exactly did God plant it? That is the riddle which some have come to understand though largely rejected by the majority of Christian or Biblical theologians. If you want to learn the riddle, then obtain a copy of Judah’s Sceptre and Joseph’s Birthright by J.H. Allen. You can find a free copy to read online. That book explains how God fulfilled His covenant with King David. Jeremiah took a young daughter of King Zedekiah to Ireland to marry into another line of David which is called the “low tree” or “dry tree” in Ezekiel 17. Thus, Queen Elizabeth II sits on the throne of David today which is known as the throne of England. This brings us to some speculation that I proposed over 40 years ago in my book on prophecy. Others have since come to see this with their own published book containing some interesting details of the present heir to the British throne, namely, Prince Charles. From my own research, here are some interesting tidbits to consider: If a “horn” mentioned in Daniel is considered to be a king, then might “a little horn” possibly be referring to a prince? Could be. This “little horn” understands riddles. There are charts which show the ancestry of Queen Elizabeth II which reveal that she is a royal descendant of King David. Prince Charles would certainly be aware of this and may utilize this in the future to establish himself as the awaited messiah to the Jews. Yet, the “little horn” was to arise from one of the four horns of the Greek Empire. This is where the pieces of the puzzle really begin to fall into place. Prince Charles’ father, Prince Philip, was a possible heir to the throne of Greece. He was born on the Greek island of Corfu. He was born Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark. He later abandoned his Greek and Danish titles and became a naturalized British subject in order to marry Elizabeth. With this in mind, Prince Charles should certainly be considered a possible candidate for “the little horn.” The name “Charles” means “man.” Remember that the number of the Beast would be the number of a “man” (Revelation 13:18). This verse also mentions the number 666. Elsewhere in the Bible, the number 666 is connected to King Solomon (I Kings 10:14; 2 Chronicles 9:13). As you know, Solomon inherited his father’s throne which still exists today. Satan knows the importance of that throne in the plan and promises of God. The Little Horn is not mentioned in the book of Revelation. Rather, we see a “beast” rising up from the sea in Revelation 13:1-2. It has the body of a leopard, the feet of a bear, and the mouth of a lion. We find these same animals listed in Daniel seven. Yet, Revelation 13 depicts nations existing at the end-time. Which nations today are represented by a leopard, a bear, and a lion? Germany, Russia, and Britain or the United Kingdom. Could Revelation 13 be forecasting the rise of a future military and economic alliance of these three nations? And could Prince Charles somehow become the honorary figurehead of this alliance? Don’t forget that Prince Charles also has German blood through Queen Victoria’s husband, Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (See “House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha”). Instead of Germany fighting against Russia and Britain, as in WW 2, imagine them combining their future economic and military might in an alliance inspired by Satan himself. With the U.S. blundering withdrawal from Afghanistan last August, we saw how the UK and others realized that U.S. support could no longer be relied upon after many decades of NATO security with the U.S. being the cornerstone of that alliance. Cracks have formed which may never be repaired. Revelation 13:3 says that one of the heads of the Beast was mortally wounded but then was healed causing the world to wonder. What may be this symbolic healing yet to occur? If the Roman Empire was one of the heads of this Beast, then remember that it became divided or “wounded” which weakened it and led to its eventual downfall. First in the west and then in the east with the fall of the Byzantine Empire in 1453. Do some online research with “The Third Rome.” Moscow became known as the Third Rome. Also, see online article on “Sophia Palaiologina” who married Ivan III of Moscow. She was the niece of the last Byzantine Emperor. Thus, Russia or Moscow became the inheritor of the Eastern Empire, while Germany became the inheritor of the Western Empire if you know your history. In Russia, we find the Czars. In Germany, top dog was known as Kaiser. Both titles refer back to “Caesar” of Rome. Plus, Britain was at one time under Roman control. Would the coming together of these three nations be the healing of the deadly wound of the Roman head? Germany and Russia are extensions of the two legs of iron described in Daniel 2. The Little Horn or Prince will head this future alliance described in Revelation 13. After his success in battle and perhaps economic warfare, he will be heralded as some kind of savior. While the understanding of David’s throne being the throne of England is today scoffed at by many, it may become quite popular in the future which would put Prince Charles in a whole new light. He is eventually joined by 10 toes or 10 horns. Why ten? Think about this: How many tribes were in the northern kingdom of Israel and became lost to history? That’s right, ten. These 10 toes or horns may represent the 10 lost tribes which the heir of David’s throne has now revealed by his understanding of “riddles.” Thus, this future false messiah may attempt to reunite all of Israel by invading the Middle East and take control of Israel (kingdom of Judah) which was anciently occupied by Judah and Benjamin. Did not Jesus Christ warn of this in Matthew 24? See also Daniel 11:36 to 44. Do you see how Satan will use David’s throne as a possible major future deception? Learn all you can about Prince Charles including his study of Islam. Revelation 17 describes a great city which is referred to as “Babylon the Great.” This woman or city sits on the Beast. If you sit on a beast, such as, a horse or donkey, when it moves then you will move with it. Thus, God is telling us that this woman or city has moved about throughout time. First, she was in ancient Babylon found in Iraq. Then probably in ancient Rome. Then perhaps Venice. Then Amsterdam. (See “Babylon’s Banksters” by Joseph P. Farrell). We are fast heading toward a revolution in money. Money today is largely controlled by the banking system of the world. With the fiat currency that came about in 1971 when Nixon took the U.S. off the gold system, money was no longer tied to something which had been made by God, such as, gold. Now, money comes from witchcraft or sorcery. It can be made out of thin air. It is said of her in Revelation 18:23-24: “Your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorceries were all nations deceived. And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and all who were slain on the earth.” This great city once ruled over the entire world and will once again become the capital of the world. Besides being a financial hub, Revelation 18 describes it as a major trading port where ships would come. This was also true of ancient Babylon since it was located on a river. What city will give birth to this future Beast power described in Revelation 13 which rises out of the sea? What nation is an island nation which once ruled over the world from its capital city? Baby-Lon-don. This city is called a whore or prostitute. Who did God call a whore in the Bible? “Though you, Israel, play the prostitute, Judah must not become guilty” (Hosea 4:15 NASB). There’s more: What is the color of royalty? Were not her armies dressed in scarlet? See Revelation 17:4. Is not the Port of London on the Thames River a major trading port? Check this out online, “City of London Corporation.” Does this all seem too farfetched? With any speculation we must use caution and not allow our thinking to blind us to other possibilities when reality exposes errors in our prophetic scenarios no matter how appealing they may be. As Christ warned, we must always be watching world events so as not to be caught unawares of possible deception and spiritual danger. None of us know exactly how future events will unfold which will fulfill Bible prophecy. The main thing about prophecy is to help us to be zealous toward God and our walk with Him. It is not something that should cause division or unending arguments that can’t be absolutely proven one way or the other. Just be aware of any possibilities that I have presented here to avoid deception if things should go that way. But they may not. Keep an open mind but be careful and cautious until actual events confirm any prophetic speculation. Any prophetic explanation which contradicts Bible truth regarding grace and works of faith in Jesus Christ should not be given any merit. Remember Isaiah 8:20: “To the law and the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because they have no light in them.”
Iron Sharpening Iron In regard to: The Little Horn of David Article by Dwight Fleming Comments by Ray Daly (Lincoln, North Dakota)

I’d like to make a few comments on Dwight Fleming’s article “The Little Horn of David”. While I find him to be right, I wish to add to what he told us. For example, he was speaking of the “kingship” as it was sent “westward”. Or that is as I see it, because he used the word “eagle”, and this pertains to “the west”. I’ll just add to it based on my research into the subject. Just prior to the final invasion of the northern tribes of Israel, some 90% of the tribes of Ephraim, the half tribe of Manasseh, and a few thousands of each of the other 5 tribes living in the north “migrated”. First, they stopped in Judea with their “brother Simeon”. Before the Babylonian invasion of Judea, these Samaritan tribes migrated west (the eagle) to Carthage on the NW corner of Africa. Carthage had been a trade center for Tyrus, the youngest son of Japheth (today’s China). There they became the “Carthaginian Empire”. And when they went, they took “Ephraim’s kingship” with them. Later, before Babylon’s invasion of Judea, the majority of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin also packed up and went “west” (the eagle), but they continued onto the “northwest”, and settled in today’s southern Ireland. (Note: A number of WCG+ historians have written on this.) Thus, the “throne of Judea” went with them. So, both thrones were now in the west/the eagle. Take the above and note that in the 200’s AD, Rome invaded todays Spain (then “Iberia”, a word that means “Hebrew”), where the half tribe of Dan had settled in the days of the Judges. When they “dwelt in ships”. These Danites then moved into southern Ireland and forced the Judeans to move out. Judah moving into today’s Scotland, and Benjamin going to todays “Northern Ireland”. Likely pointing to how it is the “southern and northern Irish” do not get along. Now, when the Judeans went “northwest”, Jeremiah took the king’s daughters, numerous Hebrew written historical writings, and the “Lia fail” stone. The latter was the symbol of kingship for the Judeans. But, when the Danites arrived in their homeland, the Lia fail stone was taken with Judah into today’s Scotland. Then, in the early 300’s AD, Rome invaded the Israelites of the Carthaginian empire, and these Israelites had to move to their present homelands in the north. But, at this same time, there began to be a few wars to see which “kingdom” had the right to the “Lia fail stone”. After a time, Ephraim won out. But not too long ago (I do not recall the year at all) Ephraim gave the Lia fail stone back to Judah/Scotland. This brings me to the time of Queen Elizabeth. For, she was of “Scotland”, thus the queen of the Lia fail stone. Therefore, her son Charles, who is inheriting the throne, is also of Judah. For, the descendant line is carried through the woman, and not the man. IOW’s, today, the “throne” lies with Judah, as it rightfully should be. This is long enough, so will stop here. There is so much of the “Lia fail/throne” to take place in the future. But another time?
